Paul M Hess

Paul M Hess Sr. was born October 30, 1919 in Jacksonville, Florida and was ushered into the arms of Jesus January 17, 2013 in Sarasota, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Thelma Tatum Hess, seven children, Paul M Hess Jr, Martha Hess Draughon, Diana Hess Morton, Kenneth Hess, Janet Hess Carter, Leonard Hess and Joseph Hess and one sister Catherine Hess. His crowning glory was his 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. He served in WW II in the US Army at the Battle of the Bulge and in France. He received numerous medals including the Purple Heart. He was instrumental in the founding of Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Jacksonville, Florida, the owner of PM Hess Roofing and Sheet Metal in Jacksonville, Florida and a member of Journey Assembly of God in Bradenton, Florida.
