78. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Paul Walter and Margaret Eide Brandenburger.
A warm and gregarious man, Paul spent much of his life charming his peers. His captivating
personality led him to succeed in many professional endeavors, most notably BranCon, Inc. He
was quite the philanthropist, donating his time and talents to individuals and organizations
alike. Being the duck enthusiast that he was, one could never walk into his home without seeing
a sizable flock of ducks.
Paul lived a full life, filling at least four passports, and did not leave our Earth without some
experiences that many may only dream of. He is survived by his three children, Stacy Elizabeth Roland, Paul Walter Brandenburger (wife, Linda), and Mark Eide Brandenburger (wife, Toni); six grandchildren, Brandon Mathias Roland (wife, Melissa), Margaret-Laine Elizabeth Roland, Alexis Elizabeth Brandenburger, Walter Thomas Brandenburger, McKenna Yoon
Brandenburger, and Matthew August Ho-Ching Brandenburger; and two great-grandchildren,
Vincent-James Mathias Roland and Bryce Mathias Roland.
His family will be meeting with friends for visitation from 6 – 8 pm on Thursday,
June 20th, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10:30 am at St.Mark’s Lutheran Church, 3976 Hendricks Ave. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
