Patricia Poole Crouse, 85, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born September 5, 1932 to Walter and Hazel Poole in Salisbury, NC. Pat enjoyed gardening and making pickles. She loved making her own doll houses and loved trains as well. Pat also loved to read and go to the movies. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister Marilyn Poole Harrelson. Pat was previously married to William Crouse for 22 years and he passed away in 2003. She is loved and survived by her partner Lyana (Ann) Cox of 37 years, her children William “Bill” Crouse, Terry (Johnny) Crouse-Waters, Julie (Kevin) Crouse-Newsome, David (Kim) Cox, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brother Walter Wakefield, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as her beloved little dog Petey. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 26, 2018 beginning at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1415 McDuff Ave. South, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
