Pamela “Ms. Pam” Dian Pineda, 63, of Mandarin (Duval County), gained her angel wings Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center South. Ms. Pam went to heaven Sunday evening after courageously battling a hard fight against lung cancer.
Born July 30, 1953 in Beardstown, Illinois (Cass County) to Norma Bowman, Ms. Pam grew up to be a homemaker, retail associate, day care owner, and most recently a soft line associate of Kmart in Jacksonville, Florida.
Ms. Pam’s hobbies included watching the Golden Girls, reading her book on The Secret, watching Dr. Oz, spending time with her family, and reminiscing the old times and talking about future dreams.
She married Manuel G. Pineda on June 27, 1984 in Jacksonville, Illinois. Together they raised three children: Maria Pineda (31), Melissa Pineda (30), and Alexander Pineda (18) all of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving her is her son-in-law-to-be, Christopher Lawson (34), of Indianapolis, IN.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Ms. Pam will then be transported to Ripley, Illinois to be laid to rest in the presence of her beloved family, relatives and friends. Ms. Pam will be missed by her friends, relatives and family.
