Perhaps my time seems all too brief,
Do not lengthen it with undue grief.
My spirit is free, I do not sleep.
I am still here, I do not weep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond;
The clear cool water in a quiet pond
I am the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring,
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I am the mornings’ hush, her first ray of light,
The twinkling star that shines so bright
I am with you every dawn, every noon, and night.
I do not sleep, I do not weep.
My spirit is free and l will never depart,
Just as long as you keep me alive in your heart.
