Norma Young Skipper, 91, passed away June 12, 2013 in Fleming Island, FL. Norma was born October 24, 1924 in Jacksonville, Florida to James Earl and Mildred (Graddy) Young. She was a former member of the Riverside Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville, FL, and remained active in the Flagler Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine, FL. and the Woman’s Presbyterian until her passing. Norma is survived by her son Mark Velo Skipper(Lisa); four grandchildren Tonya Aline Layne, Matthew Skipper, Mark William Skipper, and Michelle Lee Skipper; five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Husband, Velo Skipper and youngest son, Paul Skipper. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Celebration of Life Services will be held at Flagler Memorial Church, St. Augustine, FL at 1:00PM on Friday, June 21, 2013.
