Nancy Lordahl

Nancy Marie Lordahl (70), of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. She was born in Santa Monica, CA, on July 24, 1951, to Patsy Ruth Box (Cantrell) and Kenneth E. Box. She married Bert Leslie Lordahl, III, on April 19, 1969, and they remained married until his sudden death in 2021. In 2003, Nancy and Les opened their own business, Les’ Heat and Air Conditioning Services, Inc. Their business motto was, “Why pay more when you can pay Les.” Nancy and Les were inaugural/annual ticket holders of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Nancy also loved her family, cooking, and gardening. She and Les were also caregivers for her parents for many years before their deaths.

Nancy was a kind, loving and devoted wife to Les, and a dedicated mother and grandmother to their children and grandchildren. She was thoughtful and kind, and she had a deep sense of family. Nancy was strong and determined. Though Nancy dealt with many adversities in life, it was that strength and determination that saw her through each one. She was the matriarch of her family and will be sadly missed.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother and father (Patsy and Ken Box), her husband (Bert Leslie “Les” Lordahl, III), and her youngest son (Shane Edward Lordahl). Left to cherish her memory are her oldest son, Bert Leslie Lordahl, IV; her grandson, Bert Leslie Lordahl, V; and her granddaughter, Karli Nicole Lordahl; her sister, Lynda Nichols; her brothers-in-law, Mark Douglas Lordahl and John Bruce Lordahl; her sister-in-law, Joy Ann Lordahl (Josie); her nephews, Joshua Lee Lordahl (Mackenzie), and Bradley Lordahl; her niece, Lyndsie Ann Lordahl; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives, and many great friends.

Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207, is serving the family. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Greenlawn Cemetery located at 4300 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida.
