Mrs. Nancy Roberta Bright, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 31, 2015. Mrs. Bright was born in St. Albans, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Louis and Edna Duncan. She was a volunteer for many years at Baptist Hospital serving North Jacksonville.
Surviving family include her son, Christopher D. “Chris” (Anna) Bright, Sr.; three grandchildren, Christopher D. “Buddy” (Destiny) Bright, Jr., Jessica (Allen) McDaniel and Stephen (Treasure) Bright; four great-grandchildren, Aiden & Kallie Bright, Connor & Dylan McDaniel and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 11:00am at Hardage-Giddens, Chapel Hills Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00pm at the funeral home.
