She worked for in Admitting at St. Vincent’s Hospital and was a hairdresser for 30 years.
Mildred was a fan of NASCAR races, football, cooking shows and Donald Trump. She also enjoyed playing cards and flower gardening.
She is survived by sons, Ray Tomlin (Jackie) and Danny Tomlin (Donna); brother, Frank Boren (Alice); sister, Julia Hall (Gerry); grandsons, Bradley Tomlin, Bryan Tomlin, Hunter Tomlin (Natalie); granddaughter Victoria T. Baugh (Tyler); great-grandson, John Tomlin; great-granddaughter, Caroline Baugh; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Preceded in death by father, Julius W. Boren; mother, Mildred Cleo Bright Boren; brothers, Roy Boren, Jesse Boren, and Bo Boren; and sister, Mary Boren Hardin.
A funeral service for Mildred will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A reception will follow at the funeral home after the commitial.
