Michelle Lee Smith

It is with heartfelt condolences that the family is announcing the passing of Michelle Lee Smith of Jacksonville, FL. Michelle passed peacefully at the age of 50 on April 16, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Michelle was the sweetest, kindest person, a wonderful mother and a devoted loving wife. Her passions included the ocean, music, and football. She was also a talented writer.

She loved her Lord and Savior. Her spirit will be with us forever.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Tim Smith; their son Tavin; her mother Sada Harding; sisters, Teri (Greg), Katie; brother, Andy; her in-laws, Tommy and Marolyn; extended family Troy and Tyson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father William Edward Wheeler.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Legacy Lodge, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32207. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 :00 am, with Michelle’s memorial service beginning at 11:00 am.
