Michele Lea Batteh Campbell. On Tuesday, April 25th, 2017 our ray of sunshine, Michele, left this world and joined her father, Munir Salem Batteh, and sister, Kimberly Marie Batteh, in heaven leaving a hole in all of our hearts. Born in Jacksonville, Florida on June 24, 1972, Michele had the amazing ability to light up a room with her vibrant personality, gave the best hugs and kisses knowing you were loved. She was given the award for Best Smile Maker by her company, The Michaelson Group. She exuded a passion for her family, the country of Jamaica, cooking large meals and gathering those she loved to celebrate a milestone or birthday.
Michele Lea Batteh was survived by her mother, Her Queen, Besima Batteh; spouse, Earl Campbell; daughters, Basia Sade, Nyah Mahklah Marie; sons, Jah-Nesta Emmanuel, Jah-Marley Yocha; grandson, Tafari Cristiano; sisters, Christina Batteh Robbins, Angela Batteh; nieces, Isabella and Sophia; and countless Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends who were like her family.
Visitation with the family will take place on Sunday evening, April 30th from 6-7:00pm and Trisagion Service 7:00pm at St. George Orthodox Church on 6300 Bowden Road. The funeral service will take place on Monday, May 1st at 10am at St. George Orthodox Church.
