Michael Anthony Salerno

Michael Anthony Salerno, beloved of the Lord, left this world peacefully on December 5, 2020, at the age of 60.

A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, he was preceded in death by his father Michael J. Salerno and his mother Monteel Wood Salerno. He is survived by his devoted niece, Cyndi Salerno, also known as “sister”, his cousins, and many dear friends and caregivers with whom he shared close personal relationships.

Michael was known for his zest for life, his never-ending smile and positive, sweet and happy personality. He loved the Lord and was indeed a special child in God’s sight.

Michael will be interred next to his dear mother and father. His graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, December 10 at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Michael’s name, to Pine Castle, Inc., 4911 Spring Park Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
