Michael Eugene Harper, 55, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Hatfield, father, Gene Harper and stepfather, Sam Hatfield; children, Melissa (Curt) Smith and Thomas (Jamie) Harper; siblings, Ricky (Julie) Harper, Pam Bushman, Tammy (Robby) Kemp, Tina (Eddie) Higginbotham, Chris (Saidy) Harper; sister-in-law, Debbie Harper, father-in-law, Carl Zart III and his grandchildren, Matt, Julie, Tammy, James and Kailey. Mike was predeceased by his loving wife, Sarah Harper, Siblings Edward Harper, Tommy Harper, Debbie Douglas, Bobby Smith and Stepmother, Dessie Harper. Mike had a kind heart and was always willing to help friends and family when needed. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 11th at 11:00am at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Interment will follow at Mandarin Cemetery.
