I should have posted this before the funeral but late is better than never. Matt, I'm gonna miss you and I know that's a massive understatement of a lifetime. I wanted to be there for you when I was in Colorado but the distance made it seem near impossible, so all I could do was talk to you online and play games together. I'm sorry I kept putting stuff off, always saying next time and rarely getting around to it. I promised you the world when you were little but now all I can so is hope you are in a better place.

You made life great, you made life entertaining and you always cared. No one could match your wit and heavy sarcasm I could however beat your gaming skills. Growing up, you'd always come to me for help to play a game and I would always show you some tricks and strategies to use to get through one level after the next. Who knew that just a few years later it would be you showing me how to beat games and get get through the impossible; the best part was teaming up with you and taking down hordes of strangers online and showing them all who the best really was.

When my day comes, we will play Call of Cthulhu and investigate the secrets of the unknown. We will play every co-op game known to man and battle it out online to show them who is the best; and no more "maybe next weekend." I love you Matthew, aka Wilson Smith 'Man of Names'.

Matthew i know what i put down on here your going to embarrassed by. However i just feel the urge to write anyway be mad if you want. I will never forget the day that you were born the day that i got to meet the most amazing person ever created. You were so small and so perfect. I will never forget the way that you looked wrapped in that white and blue striped blanket or your little white cap. The smell of a newborn i know that ive tried to explain that smell to you before but its really something that is unexplainable. I had always knew in the back of my mind that you would one day experience the smell of a newborn, like your child that you would have had. You were a bond to the family a glue of sorts that kept us from tearing each other apart.  I remember the joy that i felt when you turned a month old grandma was in the kitchen with mom. Mom was holding you brushing your hair. I had some sort of snap reaction and said matthews a month old dad passed through the kitchen from the florida room and said no he not a month yet and mom paused for a moment and you know what he sure is a month old today. I gave you a kiss on the forehead and you just smiled.  You loved being held and hugged and overall just loved on. You have always been a bright light in my life and alwaya will be.
