My deepest sympathies to you, Michelle and Tom. I can close my eyes and still see Kati, Matthew and Connor running, playing and having the time of their little lives. Matthew is forever etched in my memory as that sweet little boy. Your family is my thoughts and prayers.

Sweet Matthew! There isn't a single childhood memory I have of growing up on Ridgefield Drive that doesn't include you. From neighborhood barbecues, birthday parties, trick-or-treating and Christmas morning to playing Nintendo in your family room, zip-lining in your backyard and putting on  plays for our parents, your smiling face and boundless energy brightened even the most ordinary days - even those early (very early...) Saturday mornings you woke me up to see if Connor was awake yet. :) You were a second little brother to me, and certainly Connor, my mom and dad considered you part of the family too. Though I haven't seen you in many years, you've never been far from my thoughts. In fact, I've often shared Matthew stories with friends (oh, so many funny stories!), and it seems not a trip back home to Florida goes by without my family talking and laughing about our favorite Matthew memories. I am so grateful for the times we shared, and I can't imagine childhood without you. I love you and your family very much and wish you peace.

Dear Matt: I will always cherish the time we spent together growing up.  You are front in center in a lot of my earliest memories as a kid: playing baseball, exploring the woods, building a treehouse in your backyard.  None of it would have been the same without you.  When I think of you I remember BLONDE hair and a big smile :)  You have a heart of gold and I am honored that we shared our most carefree days together.
