Mary O Vickery

Mary Oliver Vickery was called home to the Lord April 7, 2021. Mary was born November 2, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia to Hiram and Alfreda Oliver. She lived in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia before calling Jacksonville, Florida home.

Mary was a devoted wife and mother, successful business owner, and an avid traveler. She enjoyed Georgia Tech football, sweet treats with her morning coffee, and spending time with her family whom she dearly loved. Most importantly, as a born again Christ follower, she rejoiced in the reconciliation to God and eternal life accomplished by our Lord and Savior.

Mary is predeceased by her parents, her husband (Edwin Vickery, Jr.), and both her brothers (Alfred Oliver and George Oliver). Her legacy lives on through her three sons Michael Vickery (Brandy), Russell Vickery (Linda) and Brad Vickery (Kimberly); six grandchildren, Lori, Cheryl, Alex, Joshua, Jason and Stephen; and nine great grandchildren, Casey, Cody, Austin, Cameron, Aliyah, Alyssa, Landyn, Jackson and Leona.

A graveside service will be held on April 13, 2021 at 11:00am at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida.
