Mary Irene Perkins (Toni), 81, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 14, 2017 at the Anne and Donald McGraw Center for Caring (Hospice). Mary was born March 13, 1936 in Hornell, New York. She is predeceased by her parents, Menzo L. and Mary I. Woodward of Jasper, New York, her late husband of 52 years, Gerald L. Perkins and son, Jeffrey L. Perkins.
Mary was a wonderful mother of six children. She was full of life and loved to travel with her husband. She loved antiquing, working with seashells making beautiful pictures and art work. Holidays were her favorite time. She loved to bake Christmas cookies and her famous fudge. Mary worked and then later retired from Maidenform.
Survivors include her five remaining children, Deborah McGuire, Terry Devero, Kim Perkins, Daniel Perkins and Penny Perkins-Oliver. Mary had 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.
