In her younger years she devoted her time to volunteering to her neighborhood schools and was nominated for the prestigious Eve Award, all while raising 7 children of her own.
She was the host of countless family gatherings and centerpiece of our holidays. Her house was always bustling with laughter, filled with loved ones, and sprinkled with a little chaos that she delighted in.
She was the baker of the worlds best, made from scratch red velvet cake. She was such a great, self-taught cook that legend has it, Paula Deen once asked her how she cooked her turkey to such perfection. She was also an avid gardener who loved working in her yard along side her husband, they made such a great team. She was a proud parent and even prouder grandparent. She never ever missed the opportunity to wish someone she loved a happy birthday, even if it meant calling at 5:00 am. She adored getting dressed to the nines for any occasion.
Although her family has peace that she is no longer suffering or in pain the void of such a huge presence will never be filled. There will never be another quite like her.
She joined her husband, Leroy; parents, Cecil and Ruby Parker; late husband, Warren L Stump; her beloved son, Warren Stump; and son-in-law Kenny Nolan.
She is survived by her children, Mahala Nolan, Paula Hastings (Richard), Manya McClain (Hart), Danny Stump, Michelle Grabill (Troy), and Christopher Stump; her pride and joy, grandchildren, Gary Nolan, Crystal Nolan (Dave), Rick Hastings (Melody), Brandy Garza, Ashley Moller (Max), Leslie Boswell (Brian), Chelsea Stump, Gavin Stump, Harleigh Grabill and Colin Stump; the apples of her eye,
her Great Grandchildren, Kailey Johnson (Mathew), J.R. & Jax Garza and Ava Moller; and Great-Great Grandchild, Asher Johnson.
The family will have a visitation on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 12:00pm with service following at 1:00pm at Hardgage-Giddens Riverside Memorial at 7242 Normandy Blvd, with Jamie Wyatt officiating.
