Mary Rita Mitchell

Mary Rita Mitchell, beloved wife and mother, was born in Providence RI, and passed away peacefully at home on Aug 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Francis Robert Mitchell, Jr., and her son, Kevin Joseph Mitchell. She is survived by her four children, Kathy Mitchell Parker, Maureen Margarita Mitchell, F. Robert Mitchell, III (Iris), and Sean Michael Mitchell (Annette); one sister, Eleanor Stephenson; three granddaughters, six grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.

There will a visitation and rosary at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6. Funeral Services will be at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd. N., at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, with burial following at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Community Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeast Florida or to St. Vincent DePaul Society through Resurrection Catholic Church.
