Mary Fore

FORE- Mary “Granny” Fore, 85, passed away May 28, 2011. She was a resident of Jacksonville Beach for the past 55 years and a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. “Granny” worked at Childtime Learning Center as a caregiver. She also was a real estate broker and an insurance actuary for Metropolitan Life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Francis Lee Fore.

Survivors include her sons, Larkin, Terry, Sean, Tracey, and Peter Fore; daughters, Kathleen Hurst and Mary Pat Innis; son-in-law, Gene Hurst, Sr.; daughters-in-law, Pat, Connie, Sharon, Nonie, Sharon, Stuart, and Bea Fore, and Susan Fina; sisters-in-law, Peggy Singletary, Sybil Fore, and Bobbie Jean Walker; and her dearest friend, Margaret Ellison.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, with committal services to follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 N. St. John’s Bluff.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
