Marvin R. Wright

Marvin R. Wright, 88, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2021. Born in Crab Orchard, Tennessee, he lived in Jacksonville, Florida for (67) years.

He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

He loved his family, church, camping, and working in his shop.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Wright Smith and her husband Joe, and his son Terry Wright and his wife Debbie.

He has (4) grandchildren: Little Joe Smith Jr, Christie Smith Hall (Charles), Chad Wright (Holly), and Derek Wright (Shannon). He has (7) great-grandchildren: Aaron Smith lll, Baylee Smith, Bella Brinson, Jude Brinson, Mason Wright, Hunter Wright, and Beckett Wright.

After the passing of Marvene, his wife of (54) years, Marvin married Hazel Pugh of Auburndale, Florida. They were married for (10) years.

He has (1) sister, Azile Wright Groce, and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Lee and Eliza Wright, and brothers Glenn D. Wright and Stanton E. Wright.

He will be missed not only by his family, but by all of his loving friends as well. Our loss is truly Heaven’s gain.
