Martha Caroline Williams, 94, of Jacksonville Florida, passed away on October 20, 2018. Martha was born in Bellevue, Ohio on December 9, 1923. She graduated from Norwalk High School and enlisted in the United States Navy in 1944. Martha was married to Thomas George Williams in 1945; they were married 45 years. Martha worked as a telephone operator at Northern Ohio Telephone company, Goodes Bakery, and Hardage- Giddens Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Florida for 30 plus years. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and spending time with family.
Martha was preceded in death by her father, Charles Sharfenberg; mother, Edith Wagner ;and husband, Thomas Williams. Martha is survived by her children Robert Williams and his wife Sharon, Janice Sandlin and her husband Ralph, Kathy Murden, Ronald Williams and his wife Vanessa, Timothy Williams and his wife Tracy; grandchildren Robert Williams, Jr. (Rachel), Denise Murden, Eric Sandlin (Katie), Sarah Hodges (Robert), Chad Sandlin, Taylor Williams, Tori Williams, Jordan Williams; great-grandchildren Shalie Williams, Trinitie Sandlin, Wesley Williams, Grayson Sandlin, Harper Sandlin, Ambrie Sandlin, Ella Sandlin, Audrey Hodges; brother Charles Sharfenberg (Nancy); nephew Craig Sharfenberg; and other family members and friends.
