Martha Eleanor Dean, 79. Eleanor was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Fl. She went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2011. She was an active member of Lake Shore Presbyterian Church and Salvia Garden Club for many years. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1950.
Mrs. Dean is predeceased by her parents Robert Earl and Mercidease Harden. She is survived her husband of 58 years, James Fenton Dean II; two sons, James Fenton Dean III (Vickie) and Roger Earl Dean; two sisters, Dee Ann Morgan (Tommy), Jymmie Earlynn Harden also several nieces, nephews and many close friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Town and Country Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, January 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
