Daley, Marlene R. passed from this world on Saturday, June 25th, 2016. She was born May 14, 1936 and was preceded in death by her parents, Marlin and Sallie Rhoden, and her sister, Mary Burr. She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Daley; son, Richard M. Daley, both of St. Marys , Georgia; sisters; Bernice Tomkinson, of Clio, Michigan, Judy Brittain, of Jacksonville, Florida; and brother, Donald Rhoden, of Lake City, Florida.
For 33 years Marlene was an active member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida, participating in the Ginger Lee Sunday School Class. She was retired, having served as a Senior Vice President in the Coastal Bank of Georgia, formally the St. Marys State Bank.
The visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205, Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 12-1pm with the funeral service to follow. Interment will be after the service at 2pm in Riverside Memorial Park.
