Markham “Mark” Dale Bowman passed unto the peaceful hands of his LORD and Savior on December 31, 2018. He was a life time resident of Jacksonville, Florida born on February 13, 1960 to his loving parents, Jeanette M. Blanc Bowman and Upton Dyal Bowman.
Mark was an avid outdoorsman: a hunter (for food only) and a sport fisherman as Charter Boat Captain winning many trophies in the local King Fish Classics with his off shore boat, “Okeahous”. He also enjoyed fishing in the rivers and creeks. Landscaping was his pleasure in his quiet moments. He retired from PCA and served in Safety Management, and as Union rep. The Bible was always near him and he truly loved his family. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Josef I. and Mary J. Blanc and William and Elise B. Bowman. He survived by his parents; his beloved daughter, Malia Dale Bowman; and his brother, Mitchell D Bowman, Sr. (Sherrie); his nephew, Mitchell D Bowman, Jr. (Mandy); his uncle, Josef H. Blanc; his aunt, Gloria Blanc; and many cousins and many friends. He will be remembered with LOVE.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, January 7 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home. The graveside service will take place at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 8 at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, with Reverend Terry Gore officiating.
