Marie "Smokey" Turrall, 92, longtime resident of Jacksonville, passed away June 24, 2012. She was born in Bronx New York, daughter of the late George and Mary (Galow) Devlin. Marie moved to Jacksonville with her husband in 1996. Smokey was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandarin where she spent many hours volunteering in the food bank.
Surviving are a son, Anthony (Rebecca), daughter-in-law Maureen Turrall-Palazzolo, three grandchildren, Tyler, Meghan and Stella, sisters, Madeline, Georgia and Claire and a brother George as well as many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph’s Historical Chapel at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 2PM.
