Marianne Sacks, born February 22, 1948 passed away peacefully on May 26, 2017. She was surrounded by loved ones. She was born in New York City, NY to Anne and James Howlett. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and friend who will be missed by all. She is survived by her beloved husband Bernard “Bernie” Sacks, daughter Jessica Wattam, step-daughter Kelley Patton-Purtell, sister Theresa (Russell) Oaks, Brother Shawn Howlett, brother-in-law Samuel Sacks, grandchildren Katelyn, Austin, Chase and a host of other very close relatives and friends. She was retired and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville, FL. She will be remembered for her willingness to help others having worked at soup kitchens and providing Meals on Wheels to the elderly. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 is serving the family. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 5-7pm. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5752 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32244 at 10am. Interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218 at 12:30pm.
