Marguerite Pollard

Marguerite Pollard, age 89, passed away on October 6, 2014 at The Atrium in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on July 24, 1925 to Russell and Maude Mingle in Jacksonville where she has been a lifelong resident.

Prior to retirement in 1988, she was in claims administration for State Farm Insurance Company in Jacksonville after serving for 30 years.

She was a member of Immanuel Christian Fellowship in Jacksonville.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ed Pollard, her son , Johnnie Pollard and a great-grandson, Ryan Williams

She is survived by a daughter, Trinda Williams “Dannie” of Ocilla, GA, four brothers, Jimmy Mingle, Norman Mingle, Bobby and Russell Mingle, two sisters Alberta Wilkins and Bonnis Pitts

Four grandchildren, Dannie Jr., Sean, John and Alex and four great-grandchildren, Joel, Kara, Amberlie and Rylan.

A visitation will be held on Friday October 10, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenlawn funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville FL 32207.

A funeral service will be on Saturday October 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Funeral home.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL
