Margie Jean Veal

Margie Jean Veal, 82, of Callahan, Florida passed away March 14, 2022. Margie was born in Quitman, Georgia on August 19, 1939 to Plez Mack & Hazel Gunter. Margie retired from Mail-Well Envelope Company of Jacksonville, Florida and dedicated 20 years to the company. She loved fishing, her kids, grandkids and great grands. She loved oysters, fish & grits, and most days, since retirement, you could find her watching her soaps in the easy chair.

Margie is survived by her loving husband of 40 plus years, Leslie Veal, Daughters; Helen (James) Buzzard, Tammie (Al) Crews, Vickie (Angelo) Costa and Karen (Jimmy) Veal, Son; Mack (Donna) Manuel, Brother; Billy Woodard, numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren and many family & friends.

Margie is preceded in death by Parents; Hazel & Plez Mack Gunter, Son; James Manuel, Brother; Mack Gunter, Sisters; Diane Collins & Martha Gunter, Grandson; Charlie Rhodes and Granddaughter; Donna Jean Cox.

A Funeral Service will be held 11am Friday March 18, 2022 with 1 hour prior visitation at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32205. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida.
