Margie Bonita Hyers, 74, passed away on October 29, 2015 at her home in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on April 24, 1941 to the late Daniel and Geneva Rhoden Williams.
Bonita, “Mom” and “Nana” was kind, loving, giving and compassionate. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Her love for her three children, Randy, Rhonda and Timmy along with her husband Bill was “priceless”. They were the light of her life. She lived life to the fullest by spending time with her family; she enjoyed shopping and her love for the “dogs”. Once she made her mind up – that was it; if she wanted it, she got it. Bonita was sensitive to others; made decisions based on feelings and liked to feel free as well as flexible in her day to day life. She loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Billy E. Hyers who was married for 55 years. Bonita is survived by her sons Randy Busbee; Timmy Hyers and her daughter Rhonda Casey (Mike Hurst – fiancé). “Nana” has a total of 6 grandchildren – Julia; Brandi; Tiffani; Brandan; Amanda and Riely; 17 great-grandchildren and beloved other “grandchildren. Margie has 3 brothers; Willie; Buster; Baby and 3 sisters; Effie Williams; Essie Atkins; and Bertie Panfil.
The family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation on Sunday, November 1 at 5:00 to 8:00 pm am and the funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 2 at Town and Country Funeral Home. The interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Riverside Memorial Park.
