

Margaret Hanlon Rickey "Peggy". On Tuesday, April 12, 2016, Peggy passed away surrounded by her four children, after a valiant fight with Lymphoma. Peggy was born on December 2, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to Elizabeth O'Brien Hanlon and Thomas Francis Hanlon, who preceded her in death. She was married for 28 years to her beloved husband, Walter Joseph Rickey on February 16, 1963 until he preceded her in death on January 15, 1991. She is survived by her brother, Thomas. F. Hanlon Jr. (JUDY); her sister, Isabelle "Susie" Futch (ROBBIE); and predeceased by her youngest brother, Martin. Peggy is also survived by her four wonderful, successful, and smokin' hot children, Maureen "Mo" Elizabeth Eaton, Walter "Mike" Michael, Joseph Patrick and Jennifer Ann. Additionally, she had a gaggle of gorgeous grandchildren who loved her dearly including Colleen Elizabeth (EVAN), Delaney Marie, Christian Michael, Tucker Joseph, Finnegan Hanlon and Colin Patrick.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14th with Vigil Prayers at 6:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel located at 4115 Hendricks Ave. Jacksonville Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15th in Holy Family Catholic Church, 9800 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Florida, with Rev. John Reynolds as Celebrant, followed by interment in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Mandarin.
