Margaret Williams Dougherty

The family of Margaret Williams Dougherty, sadly announces the passing of our Loving Mother. Margaret was born on March 13, 1945. She passed away peacefully on July 21, 2023. Margaret was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. She was a retiree of CSX Railroad and worked in the disbursement department. She is survived by her son Frederick William Dougherty Jr.,and his wife Kelly Dougherty; his daughter Pauline Tallman and her husband Kurt Tallman. Margaret was a loving grandmother to Angelina Dougherty Wright, Christine Tallman, Brian Tallman, Joshua Tallman, Josiah Tallman, Sarah Dougherty, and Shane Dougherty. She was also a great grandmother to James Tucker Paris and Stella Dougherty.

Margaret enjoyed spending most of her time outdoors enjoying the sunshine and playing with her animals. . She also loved shopping for antiques and was an avid collector of jewelry boxes and stuffed animals. Margaret also loved nature and loved to hear the sounds of the rain. Nothing like a great thunderstorm. She was absolutely beautiful inside and out. She has gone to be with her husband Frederick William Dougherty Sr. and her parents who have gone before her. Margaret was adored by her family and will be dearly missed. She is now in her heavenly father's home, with the knowledge of Jesus Christ's saving Grace.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park following the funeral service. Pastor Richard Carney will serve as officiant.
