Margaret Williams Gary Blanton Our beloved mother passed away this past Friday, the 15th of Aug, 2014. She was the youngest child of Ernest T and Mary E Frank Williams, and was born in Powhatan Co, VA. Although she made a home in FL, with her husband, Thomas Andrews Gary, a big part of her heart always resided with her large family in VA. She instilled a love for her VA home in her children and grandchildren, who enjoyed their many visits to the James River farm in VA. She lived a life full of love and devotion for her church, Glynlea Grace United Methodist. She loved cooking for her family, gardening, working puzzles, and square dancing, especially after retirement from Blue Cross & Blue Shield, in 1983. She also enjoyed traveling to see her children in TX, CO and KY. In 1996, she toured Europe with her son. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Gary Arrington (Ivan), Nena Gary Lawrence (Charles), both of Jacksonville, a son, Thomas A Gary Jr of Winchester, KY, five grandchildren, Chandra Arrington Christie (Kevin), Nichelle Arrington (Brent), Damien J Lawrence (Katy), Caden A Lawrence, Ethan C Lawrence (Rachael), four great grandchildren, Joshua Christie (Sarah), Lanae Christie, Jacob Christie, Isis Lawrence, one great-great, granddaughter, Hadley Christie and many nieces and nephews in VA. Margaret was predeceased by two grandsons, Damon Edward Arrington and Donnie Andrews Yates, a sister, Lillian and five brothers, Clarence, Frank, Ernest, Winfree, Henry and 2nd husband, W. Blanton. A Memorial Service will be held at the Glynlea United Methodist Church, Thursday, August 21st at 11:00 AM.
