Wow, I just heard, such a powerful message from such an innocent heart.  "Ms. Marsha went to heaven" Jennifer told Makenzie.  Marsha was such a blessing to me and my family.  May God hold her close and forever cherish such a wonderful person.  To the family, always remember, Earth has no sorrow, that heaven cannot heal.  Prayers and blessings with you all.

To the Disneyland Nana (Nana Marcia) from the Seaworld Nana (Grandma Maxine).  Although I am Logan's birth grandma, you were his real grandma (nana) who was there with him on a daily basis.  "Nana Marcia"--your legacy of love, caring, patience and peacefulness will always be with us through "Nana Marsha's kids".  You have left an indible positive, loving image of how to give and love with us.  We shall always treasure the times spent together, especially last year as we sat in the room at Disneyland, with your Logan on your lap, Mr. Mark and all of us surrounding you and we all watched the beautiful light show and supped together.  What a wonderful time you had. Your good works follow you in your family and "many children".

I knew you only as a little girl, when I too was a girl 6 years older.You  were the same age as my little brother and your home was a wonderful play area for me. I too came from a large family, being the ninth born of 10.You lived across the street and were just the cutest thing I had ever seen.The name was Burkhead and your family introduced me to church.I knew then that you would grow up to be a wonderful, caring person and from what I am reading now...you did. God saw you getting tired a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away, although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only take the best.

We  the human race need the hand such as the hand of our sister Marcia. As she gave her hand, it was never permissive nor was it a hand that strikes out.
Her hand to me was a hand that soothes and leads  and did so without a selfish motive.
Everyone of us has been broken by her suffering. Up until she passed I felt so imbalanced and unstable.
Last night when her body was taken away I sucked in my breath and thought her loving hand is our own, in our hearts.

                            Where is her loving hands?
They are in all of us who loved her. It begins with the individual who is willing to let others exist, to forgive and to be forgiven.

No doubt the bad will get worse and the good will get better.

All and all it is a personnal decision.

I will miss you forever but know that you in heaven with all of my other angels.  Since the days that we sat out each evening on Corvas Court watching our little ones play, I've known you were the best friend I could ever hope for.
My best memories are the silly ones.  When Ali ran away to your house because your hot dogs were the best, when Chris got mad and told me you were nicer to him then I was, and when we were stopped on the NJ Turnpike for 10 hours (you stepped up to be the bathroom in the woods assistant for everyone who need your help!). We conspired to teach our families to love camping and had great times when our kids were small. Then later we made wonderful memories on our cruises together.
I am honored to call you my friend. I am a better person for knowing you and your family.

Marcia was so giving and so funny. She looked after our son and was full of love and kindness not only to him, but to us as new parents. Marcia took my hand one day and said "it is OK to let him get dirty" she was always giving me (a new mother) help and loving words to show me the way, this is what made us love Marcia even more...she opened up her heart to all and always had room for more. 
Marcia was so down to earth and so fun to talk with in the morning over coffee..
Marcia thank you for helping love my son when I went off to work...I know your in a great place and you shall be missed by all of us here.

God places people in our lives for specific reasons and sometimes for a season. Nana Marcia (as Logan calls her) came into our life in 2005 when Logan was 6 weeks old and she continues to live in our hearts today and forever. She was a loving, giving, caring, understanding Nana to our son Logan and treated him and us like her own family. We are grateful for the good times shared over the last 6 years. She provided the care for our son during the most formative years and taught him how to ride a bike, swim, write, spell, eat cream cheese and crackers, and  cook ...you name itâ€¦. Nana Marcia did it!  At least once a week I am reminded that I'm cooking things the wrong way because â€œthat's not how Nana Marcia cooks itâ€¦â€ So I have had to learn how to cook the Nana Marcia wayâ€¦. And that's just fine with me! She taught Parnell and me so much over the years and we are thankful. Mr. Mark, Michelle, Mark and the rest of the family we stand with you as your extended Jacksonville and will be your rock when you need us. You already knowâ€¦. We have friends and family on the East Coast and the West Coast are praying for strength during this challenging time!   We love you and will definitely miss â€œNANA MARCIAâ€
