M. Bonnie Regan

M. Bonnie Regan, 83, passed away May 27, 2011 in her home in Jacksonville, FL. Bonnie was born November 20, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Marjorie Russell & Clarence J. Nelson. She graduated college from George Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She moved to Jacksonville in 1971 with her husband Capt. William Frank Regan, USN. Bonnie was an active member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and the Ribault Garden Club. She also attended St. Philip Neri Ecumenical Church. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Capt. William Frank Regan. She is survived by her loving daughter, Gail Holland (Jack); sons Jeff Regan (Kathy) and Eric Regan (Rhonda); grandchildren Jason, Laurie and Terresa, Bryan and Bobby, Joshua and Rachel; and many other dear relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, May 30 at Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, May 31 at Oaklawn Chapel with Rev. Dr. John Oliver officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family is greatly indebted to Dr. Joel Schrank for 24 years of compassionate care and medical treatment.
