Luster Leroy Buterbaugh was born October 30, 1920 in Dunmore, West Virginia. Luster was the son of Mac McKinley Buterbaugh and Margie Williams Buterbaugh. He attended school in West Virginia and served our country as a member of the Armed forces during World War II. Luster was employed at Atlantic Marine Shipyard where he retired as a welder supervisor. In addition to his parents he was precede in death by his first wife Mildred Nix Hall and a daughter France Barber Buterbaugh and a son Steven Vinton Buterbaugh, as well as several aunts and uncles.
Luster is survived by his wife Leona Carpenter Buterbaugh and son Charles Leroy Buterbaugh and a sister Dorothy Johnson and twin granddaughters Frances C. Barber and Helen M Barber as well as several grandchildren, great grand children and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 10:00am followed by a Chapel Funeral with Military Honors at 12:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home.
