Lucas Cory Boone Sparrow

Lucas "Cory" Boone Sparrow, 38, residing in Middleburg, FL unexpectedly passed away on November 22, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kate Doyle, his loving children, Lucas and Hannah Sparrow, their mother Amber Sparrow, his brothers Jason Giddens, Joshua and William Sparrow, and his mother Vicki Sparrow and her husband, Jeff Saunders.

Cory grew up in Bithlo, FL and earned a Bachelor's degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Fort Hays University. After joining the United States Navy in 2003, MA1 Sparrow excelled in the Military Police community, proudly earning his Raven Qualification and completing multiple overseas tours culminating as the Command Investigator at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville.

Cory was an avid outdoorsman, hiking and kayaking in his free time. Time indoors was often spent reading with his children and curating his vintage video game collection. Passionate about a country-living lifestyle, Cory and his family lived on a farm tending to chickens, horses, pigs, goats and, Cory's favorite: ducks.

A memorial service will be held on December 09, 2022 at 1400 (2 pm) at the All Saints Chapel on Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville. Expected attire for service members is Naval Service Uniform (NSU) or service equivalent. All are invited to a reception afterwards; details to follow.
