Lorraine Gamble passed away on Wednesday, September 12th at All Saints Catholic Nursing Home in Jacksonville. Mrs. Gamble and her late husband, Richard Gamble, came to Florida from her native California in 1975; she was a longtime resident in Melbourne, FL. For many years she worked at K-Mart in Palm Bay. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Seaman and her husband Charles and their children Sara and Erin in Jacksonville; son Patrick Gamble and his wife Madonna and their two sons Sean and Nicholas of Nashville, Tennessee, and daughter Marsha Nuccio and her husband Philip of Gaithersburg, Maryland and their children Allen and Olivia. Mrs. Gamble’s greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the beach and family scrabble games, which she usually won. She loved all animals, mystery novels, country music, and everything about Ireland. She will be missed forever by all who knew her. There will be a visitation service in her honor on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm located at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
