MOODY: Loretta Roberson Moody “Teetle”, age 73, of Jacksonville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday evening June 7, 2009. She passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Samuel “Gene” Moody; her mother, Allie Faye Roberson; her father Albert Roberson; and her sister, Hazel Jacobs. She is survived by 3 children, Gary Moody (Heather), Scott Moody (Tracie), and Rita Coburn (Dave); 7 grandchildren: Raphard Hickox-Moody, Devon Moody, Anna Moody, Allie Moody, Samuel Moody, Samantha Coburn and Shelby Coburn; and a brother, Alvin Roberson of Hortense, Ga. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 11 in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Dr. Ronnie McKenzie officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM Thursday also, in Hortense Cemetery, Hortense, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday (TODAY) at the funeral home.
