Lonnie was an avid athlete and played sports, mostly football, beginning in his early years. Lonnie played high school football in Fairbanks, Alaska and leveraged that talent into a football scholarship to Pittsburg State University where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.
As an engineer, Lonnie had the opportunity to work for some of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the world. He also spent time working overseas, which was likely influenced by his experience as a military dependent and his interest in travel. Lonnie also had a relationship with the Lord that he cultivated at a young age.
In Lonnie’s free time, he enjoyed fishing and being a soccer dad. He was preceded in death by a son, David Aaron Brown, and is survived by his wife of 28 years, Denise Brown and his daughter Logan Isabella Brown; his parents, Christine G. and Lonnie C. Brown, Sr; two sisters, Linda Rogers (Dennis) and Diane Brown; one nephew, Dennis Rogers, Jr., and one niece, Nicole Rogers.
