I knew Lisa from Unisource and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a great co-worker and I really enjoyed seeing her smile every day. I offer my deepest sympathy to her family at this time of their loss. I will never forget Lisa...ever.

Lisa was such a wonderful and loving Great-Aunt to Joey, Alyssa, and Michael.  In looking through pictures you could tell without a doubt that she loved them so much.  This picture shows Lisa's love to her niece Crystal after the birth of her new great-nephew Michael on 12/5/12.

Aunt Lisa, I'm always going to have you in my heart. I know your WHOLE now to be with grandma and granddaddy. I'm going to miss your smile, strength, and realness. You were real, you spoke your mind and believed in your truth. I love you for that, I hope that rubbed off on me too since we're Leo's <3. I love you. My thoughts are with the rest of the family. First of all, prayers to Lisa's family for the loss of an amazing person on this earth who is now for sure a bigger than life angel in heaven. There is no doubt that her soul & spirit are stirring up some FUN & laughter! I have many memories of Lisa, & we did not always see eye to eye, but no doubt there was always a bond that was never broken. She was like the big sister I never had. In high school she was my first ride to Ed White, & she reminded me of that often, letting me know that she was my ride & she could easily not be my ride... ;) she came across tough, but I got to know the real Lisa quick...she was as sweet as could be underneath that tough shell! :) She was ALWAYS a funster at our reunions & there seriously was not a time when that smile wasn't ear to ear & her face lit up with laughter! She will be greatly missed by all of her friends at Ed White! I know how much she loved her family just by her FB posts alone, I can only imagine how you all must feel, but keep those memories close to your heart & it will warm your souls. Rest in Peace Lisa, we love you!

My heart is heavy as I write this, lisa was all about family and making people smile.  She had a heart of gold. She was always smiling, full of love.  Even though we lived far apart from each other I knew she still loved her va family. At a lose for words. Have known you since you were a little girl. Will miss chatting on facebook, seeing pictures of your sweet smile. I do know Steve & Norma are glad to have their baby girl with them.

My family was shocked by the news.  Family... something Lisa cherished.  Lisa had a great impact on my family, as did Granma and Grandaddy. Lisa took my girls even though they werent blood and loved them like they were. My girls which now are women owe alot to Lisa. My son was her little man. I remember when he was born giving Lisa the play by play from the hospital room. She was such a proud aunt.. Then there is me. There are thousands of stories and memories that I hold dear to me and I always will. I will miss you dearly.

I'm thankful to of had you as one if my closest friends. I will miss that smile and laugh and all the laughs and smiles you brought to everyone around you. We will get to have that girls weekend when we all meet again. I know that you are happy to be back with your Mom and Dad. You will be watching over all of us. You are a true friend and will be missed dearly. Till we meet again Love you and miss you.

My heart aches just to hear YOU Laugh again.. My mind keeps going over and over Why YOU? Then i think about our talks and i KNOW THAT YOU are truely Happy now because YOU are with Your MOM and dad. I am so thankful to have known Lisa and her family.  She was a great Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Great Aunt, and friend.  We had so many wonderful family get togethers.  We will treasure the fun times recently together at Cracker Barrel for her birthday and then Alyssa's birthday party.  She loved her family so much as they did her.  Its just so hard to believe this has happened and we will miss her so much.  I do know she is so happy being reunited with her Mom and Dad in heaven.

Lisa, your departure in this world, has left a huge void in many hearts, including mine. there isn't enough time or space available to tell all the memories we have shared, just know each one is as precious as the next.  you always lived your life "YOUR WAY" and on your own terms, which makes others respect and love you more. i know you have longed for some time, to see your parents, i know in my heart and soul.. you are with them.  so i will say this in closing, i will always love and miss you!!

May God give everyone that knew Lisa comfort in knowing that she is at peace and rejoicing in her reunion with her previously departed parents.  Even though she was happy-go-lucky and always smiling, we all know how very much she missed them every day.
