LEACH: Linda Roberts Leach was born on January 6, 1943 and died on July 30, 2012. She graduated from Ribault High School in 1960 and was the Florida State Typing Champion of that year. She worked for the law firm of Dawson, Galant, Maddox, Sulik, Boyer and Nichols for 8 years and then for Circuit Judges, Henry F. Martin Jr. and Charles O. Mitchell Jr. for 31 years until retiring in 2002. She cherished the close friendship she maintained with them even after they retired. She was the proud “second mother” to her niece, Renee Solomon Milhorn and nephews, Lance Solomon and Gary Solomon Jr. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Fern and Arthur Torley; her beloved sister, Orena Llewellyn Solomon; and her nephew, Kevin Thomas. Surviving are her beloved husband, George Selden Leach Jr. and his daughters, Alexis Leach (Sandy Buice), Heather Westbrook (Steve); sister, Sandra Llewellyn Thomas (Charles); niece Renee Solomon Milhorn (Ken) and her sons, Derek and Brant Pustay; her nephew, Lance Solomon (Paulette) and his daughters, Dawn and Elizabeth; niece Melinda Maguire; brother-in-law, Gary Solomon and aunt, Margaret Mason. We will miss her dearly, remember her proudly and love her forever. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Monday, August 6, at Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville with interment to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
