Linda Davis Hooten

Dearly Beloved, Linda Darlene Davis Hooten, born 10/11/1947 in Fernandina Beach, FL, surrounded by her children and brother and sister, peacefully left this world to meet Jesus, our Lord and Savior on 12/17/2020.

Survived by her children; Darin Hooten (wife Tracy and son Major), son Jordan and great grandson Camden. Daughter, Dana Platas. Brother, Danny Davis (wife Benita), Sister Jeanne Crosby (Husband Rick), Brother Donnie Davis, Mother, Betty Davis and many nieces and nephews that she absolutely loved dearly. Proceeded by her father, George Davis and brother, Greg Davis. Other loved ones include; Eddie and Becky Hooten and Shirley Clifton.

Linda spent her days caring for her mother, reading and studying the bible, digging in the garden with her cats frolicking nearby. She loved time with her children, grand children, great grandson and nieces and nephews playing and enjoying their presence. They always brought joy to her and she cherished these times. She always thought of and put others first, and always had just the right thing to say when you spoke with her, sharing the word of God for all of life’s challenges. To be in the presence of Linda, was to know the love of Jesus and she took every opportunity to share His word with everyone that she met. She was our best friend and confidant, and will be deeply missed by many.

Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister, Linda loved Jesus with all of her heart and is now where she truly wanted to be, with the King of Kings and our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
