She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 2, 1949. Linda graduated from Palmer High School in Colorado Springs and furthering her education at Pikes Peak Community College and Holbrook College where she graduated. Linda loved working with the public. She retired from Swisher Sweet Tobacco Comp in 2014.
She was survived by her loving husband of 40 years Willie, her 3 children David Burt(Jill) of Wyoming, Wendy Young of Jax Fl and Denise Young of New Port News, VA. Her 2 granddaughters Amber and Alicia Zoe both of New Port News, VA and 4 siblings Marie (Bill), Hazel, Junior (Linda) and Lynn ( Jeanine).
A celebration of life for Linda will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
