Lillian was born in Lake City, FL on 1/30/1926, and was a long living resident of Jacksonville, Fl. Lillian attended Andrew Jackson Sr. High. She worked for many years and lived a long adventurous and spontaneous life.
After retirement, Lillian enjoyed thrift store and garage sale shopping, babysitting her grandchildren and spending time with family.
Lillian is survived by her son Donald Haas II, his wife Michele, her daughter Donna Haas, her grandchildren: Joseph Haas, His wife Ashley, Ashton Haas, Dylan Owens and Ashley Harris. Great Grandchildren, Tyler Haas, Hayden Haas, Jace Haas, Bella, Braelynn and Charlotte Castranova. As well as several nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her son Kim Barley, Parents: Clyde and Roswell Powell, Brothers: Sam, Billy and Jr Powell. Her sisters: Margie Ingram and Alice Flora and Brother in law, Everette Ingram.
Lillian will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her for her adventurous free spirit, and her sense of humor. She loved being around family, dancing, Tom and Jerry, and knock knock jokes.
Everyone that was blessed to know Lillian will have a funny story to tell as she loved and lived life to its fullest.
A graveside service for Lillian will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Following the graveside service will be a reception from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel,The Legacy Lodge 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
