Lesley attended Forrest High School, received an AA Degree from FCCJ, also did course work at JU. She was a Director of Human Resources at Florida Community College at Jacksonville (FCCJ). She enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren, family and friends but spent time doing floral design and Hearts and Hands, helping people and animals. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Surviving her is her loving husband of almost 53 years, Harry Ellis Hodges; children, Leigh Hodges and Julie Hodges; grandchildren, Lorelei H. Walker and Beau H. Walker; sister, Bettye Randall and nieces, Anita Hallman and Kelly Berry.
Preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Helen Cox and daughter, Laura Elizabeth Hodges.

A visitation for Lesley will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Johns Presbyterian Church, 4275 Herschel Street, Jacksonville, FL 32210.
