Leon A. Dale Jr.

He was born in Savannah, GA to Leon and Alma Dale on January 30, 1940.

He graduated from Andrew Jackson and served 8 years in the United States Army Reserve. He worked in Retail Sales for Acosta Sales. He had a passion for old classic cars, especially 56 Fords.

Bo was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son; John Dale; and 1 half-brother, Herbert Ard.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Sue) Golden Dale; one son, Joseph Dale; Sister-in-law, Jackie Golden; Brother and Sister-in-law, J.C. and Linda Golden; half-sister, Mary Garcia; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

His Tissue was donated to The Lions Eye Institute for Transplant and Research, to help burn victims.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 5pm until 7 pm. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at 11:30am at West Meadows Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memorial Giving. 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Diabetes Foundation.
