Lauren Marie Ficke

Lauren Marie Ficke, 24, of Jacksonville, Fl passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at St Vincent’s Southside. Lauren was born on March 30, 1993 in Jacksonville to Christopher Ficke and Valerie Crooks. Lauren graduated from Mandarin High School in 2011. She worked from the young age of 16 years old for 6 years at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club. Recently, she became self-employed with Real Results as an acquisition manager (Real Estate). She had a fierce independence, energy, and a drive to succeed no matter what circumstances she was faced. She worked hard to enjoy the finer things in life. Lauren remained single. Lauren loved her family, spending time with her friends, working, shopping and the beach. There was a special place in her heart for her pets Tebow and Tanner. Lauren was preceded in death by her pet, Tanner Ficke; paternal grandfather, George E. Ficke; uncle, Michael Ficke, maternal great-grandparents, Alfred and Christine Rodriguez. Lauren lives on in the hearts of her father, Christopher George Ficke and Stepmother, Trina L. Ficke; brothers, Christopher, Chase & Connor Ficke of Flower Mound, Texas; mother, Valerie M Crooks and stepfather, Stephen F. Crooks and his children, Emily Crooks of Tallahassee, Fl, Alex Wild and son-in-law, Matt Wild of Atlanta, Ga of Jacksonville, Fl; sister, Courtney A. Pappy and brother in law, Bruce J. Pappy and their daughter, Monroe R. Pappy; grandfather, Alfred Rodriguez; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Mary and Greg Tatum; paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Joyce and James Lott, extended family; Alfred, Jill, Jordan and Alec Rodriguez, Nicole Tatum, Gregory, Aaliyah, and Adrianna Tatum, Phil, Shanna, Matt, Alexa and Rhodes Rodriguez, John, Marylou, Jade and Jessica Ficke, Russell, Margaret, Carissa and Haley Ficke, Jean, Phil, Rebecca, and Michael Johnson; and many friends who will miss her dearly.
