Laura was a strong woman and she passed that strength down to her children and grandchildren. She was born in Alma Georgia and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Laura was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan and loved to craft, most especially to crochet and to quilt. In her final years she found comfort in her western movies and bird watching but what Laura loved more than anything was her family. We know she is happy now because she is reunited with all the family she has lost along life's path and we know we will see her smiling face again one day.
Laura is preceded in death by her mother and father, William & Lougenie Lynn Buckans; her husband, David Page; brothers, John Henry Buckans and James Lamar Buckans; sisters, Lizzie Buckans Taylor, Pearl Buckans Cribbs, Della Mae Buckans, Geneva Buckans Clark (Harry), Iva Lee Buckans Johnson and Betty Jo Buckans McClaren; her daughter, Susan Arnold; her son, Steven Arnold; and a Grandchild.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Campbell (Alan), Joan Marie Easton, Michele Galehouse and Sharon Page Rose. She is also survived by a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss her dearly.
