Kirby received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Ky. He also completed 2 years at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill. Kirby planted and led North Avenue Baptist Church as it's pastor for 10 years. At the time of his death, he was an active member of Three Oaks Bible Chapel where he enjoyed being a member of the choir. Kirby loved his family. He and his wife Beverly hosted their grandchildren every summer for a week of Granny Camp. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading and nature. Every day from 12-3, he would faithfully listen to The Rush Limbaugh Show. Kirby had a special Christmas tradition where he would give a T-shirt with a humorous saying to every family member that was applicable to their unique personality. He was an entrepreneur and owned Equity Recording Company in Atlanta, Ga. for many years. After closing Equity Recording Company, he enjoyed a more simple life of painting.
Kirby was preceded in death by his daughter, Esther Lyn Bullock.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Ruth Kinman, his three children, Jeffry Nathanael Kinman and his wife Angie Kinman, Darryl Andrew Kinman and his wife Grace Kinman, Laura Kay Reeves and her husband Terry Reeves. He has fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Kirby Lowell Kinman on November 6, 2021 at 3:30pm at Three Oaks Chapel in Macon, Ga. The street address is 3350 Avondale Mill Rd. Services will be held outdoors.
